CMA Intermediate Course Duration

The duration of the CMA Intermediate Course generally spans 10–12 months, including conceptual learning, revision cycles, and exam-focused preparation. The course is governed by the eligibility and registration requirements set by The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI).
  • Minimum Study Period: Candidates must register for CMA Intermediate at least eight months prior to the examination month to be eligible to appear.
  • Eligibility to Register: Students can register after clearing CMA Foundation, or directly through the Graduate/Postgraduate (Direct Entry) Route, as specified by ICMAI.
  • Eligibility to Appear: Candidates must complete the mandated study period and fulfill any additional training requirements prescribed by ICMAI before attempting the exam.
  • Registration Validity: The registration for CMA Intermediate remains valid for seven years, allowing ample attempts to successfully complete both groups.
At Navin Classes, we design our CMA Intermediate coaching to maximize this study windowβ€”ensuring structured learning, timely revisions, problem-solving sessions, and full-length mock tests to meet ICMAI’s academic timelines effectively.
